This course will teach you how to keep safe working on site and can help you towards your CSCS card.

Course Description

On this course you will be able to apply for a CSCS card which is required to work on any construction site in the UK. You will have to complete the Award in Health and Safety in construction and successfully pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Assessment both of which you will be supported to achieve.

You will also gain employability skills including, team working, problem solving and communication.

Entry requirements

The course is for 16-18 yr olds.

Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in Construction

Course length

The course last for 7 weeks and starts on the 23rd May 2017.

Progression

You will be supported to gainĀ a CSCS card after successfully passing the course.

What can I do next? Painting and Decorating or Carpentry Intermediate Level 2 Apprenticeship, or apply for jobs in Landscaping and Maintenance.

Following Level 2 qualifications a job is possible as a; Heating Engineer, Plumber, Electrician, General Maintenance, Site Work, Plasterer and Joiner etc.
